Rivals in the ring
Brooke’s career almost ends in a single match. The defeat is brutal enough that getting back into the ring becomes a fight of its own, and the comeback is what the series follows. The complication is the woman on the other side of the ropes. The more Brooke battles her way back, the more her rival gets under her skin, and the feelings that surface are not the ones she expected to have about someone who beat her that badly.
It’s a sports story first and a romance second, which is unusual in a catalogue dominated by family and office setups.
The match in episode 1
Episode 1 opens mid-fight, with a masked wrestler pressing Brooke’s face to the mat. Then it goes back in time: from about 0:05 Brooke, in a white and gold crop top, shorts and gloves, faces a mirror in a grimy locker room and talks with an older man in a Hawaiian shirt. At around 0:26 she is in the arena, grappling with the masked woman in black gear, being lifted upside down, then bracing in a corner. From 0:46 the beating gets worse, and the episode ends with Brooke flat on the mat while her opponent stands over her, then leans down close to her face.
Six episodes, 48 tokens
You can watch episode 1 with no account, and episode 2 with a free account. Episodes 3 to 6 cost 12 tokens each, 48 tokens in total. That is one more episode than most series, at the cheaper token price, and Premium is not required.
Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you are tired of stepfamily plots and want an athletic rivalry between two women, with six episodes for 48 tokens. Skip it if you are after seduction from the start: episode 1 is a fight and a defeat, with nothing more revealing than ring gear. Fans of a commanding woman in a training setting should also try Under Holly’s Command.
