What you get without paying
Candy Shorts runs on a simple free tier. Every open series, which means 134 of the 145 in the catalogue, lets you watch the first two episodes for nothing:
- Episode 1 starts as soon as you open the series on Candy AI. There is no sign-up wall and no card prompt.
- Episode 2 asks you to log in. A Candy AI account is free and can be created with an email address or with a Google, Discord or X account.
That adds up to 268 free episodes across the catalogue. Since 131 series have only five episodes, the free part covers the setup and the first turn of most stories, which is usually enough to tell whether a premise is worth following.
Where the free part ends
From episode 3 every episode is unlocked with tokens: 12 per episode in most open series, 30 in a group of 13 titles, 11 of them linked on Candy AI to a real performer’s digital twin and two crediting Lexi Luna in the cast. Finishing a standard five-episode series at 12 tokens costs 36 tokens in total. The free tier is always the same two episodes per series, whichever title you pick.
The Spicy series are the exception. They are reserved for Premium members, so even episode 1 stays locked unless you subscribe. If you only want free content, use the filter on the series list to show open titles only, or simply browse the grid on this page, which leaves Spicy out.
What the free episodes actually show
We watched episode 1 of every open series and wrote down what appears on screen. The short answer is: less than the search terms suggest. None of the 134 episode 1s shows explicit nudity. The most revealing outfits are lingerie, bikinis and robes; a few episodes include a moment where a body is covered by a towel, a hand or frosted glass. The first episode is mostly setup: who the characters are, where they are and why the situation is about to get complicated.
That is why most open series pages here carry a short clip from the start of episode 1, and every open series has a note on how revealing it gets. You can judge the look and tone before you even open Candy AI.
Free series worth starting with
If you have no idea where to begin, the most searched open series are a reasonable shortlist, because other people have already done the filtering:
- Couples Therapy With Margot Vey: a therapist who becomes part of the problem she was hired to fix.
- My Step-Sister’s Dormitory: a weekend visit that turns into a tour of the whole floor.
- My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend’s Mom: a holiday fling answers the door, and she is the girlfriend’s mother.
- Every Wife on Candy Lane: a plumber with a very long list of house calls.
- Lodge 69 Was Double Booked: two couples, one mountain cabin.
- Under the Boss: office rivalry in London, linked to Harriet Seagrave’s digital twin.
All six follow the usual pattern: two free episodes, then three paid ones. In Couples Therapy, Every Wife on Candy Lane, Lodge 69 and Under the Boss, episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, 36 in total; in the other two they cost 30 tokens each, 90 in total.
Tips for the free tier
- Start without an account. Episode 1 is the best test of whether a series suits you, and it costs nothing.
- Sign up only when you want episode 2. One free account covers every open series, so you only do it once.
- Check the price before episode 3. The token cost per episode is shown on each series page here, along with the total to finish.
- Expect the free episodes to be the tamest. They set up the story; that is how the format works.
