An airport run that goes wrong
He is only supposed to pick up his girlfriend’s stepsister from the airport. By the time his girlfriend calls, Candy’s synopsis says, the two of them already need a cover story. Once everyone is home for the holidays, Kenzie dresses up as Santa and slips him a present meant for after midnight. The tension is seasonal: gift bags, a decorated house and two people trying hard to keep a straight face.
Episode 1: a 31-second teaser
This is one of the shortest first episodes in the catalogue, and it works more like a trailer. It opens on a night drive through snowy streets lit for Christmas, with Kenzie in a Santa hat and a pink puffer jacket. From about 0:08 she talks on the phone from the passenger seat, smiling. At around 0:23 she gets out of the car in red snowflake leggings and walks across the snowy driveway, and in the last seconds a man in a dark jacket meets her at the garage door while she carries gift bags. Everyone stays in winter clothes; the most revealing look is a low-cut white knit top under her puffer jacket. The story itself starts in episode 2.
