The weekend after the breakup
Tyler’s father has just left Josie, his wife and Tyler’s stepmom, for a 24-year-old. Tyler, who is 22, comes home for the weekend so she won’t be alone through the worst of it. The official description stops there: a house that has just lost one person, and two people left in it. The stepson, an adult with a life of his own, chooses to come back for her; the rest is left for the episodes.

At about 0:05 Tyler steps through the sliding door in a grey henley and jeans, a duffel bag on his shoulder, and she walks over to talk to him, standing close. From about 0:22 he fastens the strap of her bikini at the back. Around 0:32 she takes a phone call while he waits, and the episode ends with her walking past him and glancing back from the doorway. The green bikini is as revealing as it gets: nobody undresses.
