Married one week, already outnumbered
Seven days into their marriage, Tom and Ava are on honeymoon at a beach resort when Ava’s mother arrives. She has booked the room next to theirs, the one with a connecting door, and she says openly that the marriage will not last the week. With Lexi Luna credited in the cast, the series sets up a three-way standoff in which the newlyweds are never quite alone.
Episode 1
Episode 1 runs 81 seconds, longer than most first episodes on Candy. It opens with the mother-in-law walking by the pool in a white bikini under a sheer white robe, lowering her sunglasses. At about 0:17 Ava, in a white dress, arrives and the two embrace by the pool. Around 0:33 Ava brings two iced drinks to her mother’s table. At about 0:50 the scene moves to a hotel room, where Tom, in a white linen shirt, stands as Ava comes in with folded towels. From about 1:00 the mother-in-law, now in an open black robe, talks with Tom, and the last shot, around 1:18, shows her standing close to him in red lingerie. That is the most revealing moment; there is no nudity.
