Nowhere else to go
Ryan has nowhere to go for Thanksgiving, so his best friend Kyle brings him home. Kyle’s mom, Lexi Luna, is cooking the big dinner. While the men watch football in the living room, she keeps pulling Ryan into the kitchen. The series grows out of those trips between sofa and stove, with Kyle never more than a few steps away. Candy AI credits Lexi Luna in the series cast.
The first 68 seconds
Episode 1 moves between the two halves of the house. It opens in an autumn-decorated hallway, with Lexi walking forward in a fitted red dress and white apron while a blond man in a football jersey smiles in the doorway. Around 0:12 the camera finds two men on the sofa watching the game, one of them dark-haired in a grey sweater. From about 0:25 the action moves to the kitchen, where a roast turkey sits on the counter and a man’s hands tie her apron strings. In the last 16 seconds the man in the grey sweater stands close to her by the window, a hand at her waist. The appeal is in the near misses, not in anything graphic, and everyone stays dressed.
A pricier series
Only a handful of open series charge 30 tokens per episode, and this is one of them. Episode 1 needs no account, episode 2 needs a free account, and episodes 3 to 5 cost 30 tokens each, 90 tokens in total. That is two and a half times the 36 of a regular series. Premium is not required.
Is it worth the tokens?
Worth it if you follow Lexi Luna or like a seasonal story set around a family dinner, and 90 tokens for the ending doesn’t bother you. Skip it if you’re on a budget: most series finish for 36 tokens, and episode 1 stays at a red dress and a hand at the waist. A few other series play with the best-friend’s-mom idea: Packing Up My Best Friend’s Mom replaces the holiday meal with a move out after a divorce, and the MILF category has the others.
