A stepmother from his dreams
Prince Theron comes home to a new stepmother, Queen Lysandra, and she is the woman from his dreams. Shared visions pull the two into a forbidden affair. The official synopsis goes further than most: they are caught and banned, and then the king, who could never please her, offers his son both his wife and his crown. Since the premise reveals where things land, the interest is in how they get there.
What the free episode 1 shows
Episode 1 lasts 70 seconds. It opens on dreamlike close-ups: a hand with a gold cuff on pale draped fabric, the prince and the queen close together in a glowing hall, a man lying in a dark space. From about 0:12, in a marble palace hall, the prince in a red cloak meets the king in armour and the queen in a white and plum gown, and at about 0:28 there is a kiss in gold light. Around 0:34 a banquet table fills the screen, an older woman in a veil speaks, and the king looks on, serious. From about 0:47 the queen, wearing a golden crown, stands beside the prince with a golden cup nearby. The episode closes on the two of them face to face, tense, and the queen looking straight at the camera. Costumes are period-style; the queen’s draped gown has a deep neckline, and the kiss is the most intimate moment.

Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you prefer myth and costume to modern flats and offices, and want the whole arc for 36 tokens after two free episodes. Skip it if you want heat early on, because episode 1 is a homecoming, a feast and a single kiss. My Father’s New Queen is the closest match, another royal stepmother story with its own twist, and the fantasy category has dragons, witches and more queens.
