Shelter from the storm
Seeking shelter from a storm, you stumble into a remote chapel. Two nuns live there, and it has been years since they saw a man. They take you in, and the official synopsis promises a very unholy kind of hospitality. That isolated, candlelit setting is what the series is built on. Candy AI credits the creator darkangel666 in the cast.
What the free episode 1 shows
Episode 1 lasts 61 seconds. It opens in a candlelit stone chapel: a dark-haired nun with dark lipstick looks startled, then two nuns in habits and black stockings walk down the aisle toward the camera and smile. From about 0:17, in a tiled room seen from the visitor’s point of view, the nuns wrap a white towel around his waist while one of them looks in from a doorway. Around 0:28 the scene moves to a candlelit dining room, where the blonde nun sits by a candle and a bowl and the dark-haired nun eats from a wooden spoon. In the last stretch, from about 0:45, a hand pulls aside a purple curtain in a dark corridor to show the two nuns kneeling by the altar, and the blonde one looks back over her shoulder. The visitor in a towel is the most revealing moment; the nuns stay in their habits throughout.
Free episodes and tokens
Episode 1 is open to anyone, with no account. A free account unlocks episode 2. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, 36 in total.
Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you want atmosphere: a gothic, candlelit setting rather than a family drama, with two free episodes and 36 tokens for the rest. Skip it if you want more than a towel and nun habits in the free episodes, because episode 1 is mostly mood and setting. If the convent idea is the draw, The Nun in Our Guest Room tells a very different story about a nun with a week left before her vows. For more night-time gothic mood, Vampire’s Lust is worth a look.
