Seven days to go
The official synopsis is a single line: seven days before she gives herself to God, she has one more thing she wants to take for herself. The title supplies the rest. She is staying in a married couple’s guest room, and the countdown to her vows is the clock the whole story runs on. Who, or what, that last thing is, the description leaves to the episodes.
Episode 1
Episode 1 lasts one minute. It opens in a sunny kitchen, where the wife, in a white T-shirt and grey leggings, dries a dish at the counter. At about 0:08 the guest arrives at the front door with a black suitcase, wearing a gothic nun’s habit with sheer mesh panels, boots and lace gloves, and the wife and a man greet her. From about 0:23 she stands in the hallway by the staircase, then looks into the camera in close-up with purple eyes. From about 0:35, in the evening, she shares cake and wine with the couple at the kitchen table, and the three of them end up holding hands on the living room floor. The last shot, from about 0:50, is someone watching through a narrow gap in a doorway in the dark house. The habit’s mesh panels are the most revealing detail; nobody undresses.
Cost
Episode 1 is free to anyone, with no account. Episode 2 is free with a free account. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, 36 tokens in total, and Premium is not required.
Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you like a fixed deadline and a costume-driven premise with a forbidden edge: the synopsis is so short that the free episode 1 is the best way to judge it before spending 36 tokens. Skip it if you want a clear plot from the start, or anything more revealing than a mesh habit in episode 1. The Nuns Took Me In explores a related setting in a remote chapel, and the taboo category collects other stories about lines that shouldn’t be crossed.
