A helper in a box
Yuna is a robotic maid who arrives to help. That is the whole of Candy’s description: she comes to help, and ends up setting a marriage on fire, “in the best way”. The robot is the outsider who changes the household.
What happens in episode 1
Episode 1 runs 1:19. It opens with a woman’s hand turning a car key; the car pulls into a leafy suburban driveway while a man peeks out through the window blinds. At 0:14 Yuna, in a fitted white long-sleeved bodysuit, sits up from a metal crate labelled YUNA and looks around a bookshelf. Then she walks up the stairs into the bedroom, where the man picks up a framed photo of a woman from the dresser.
From 0:42 he shows her a small cut on his finger, and Yuna gently tends to his hand. At 0:58 his wife, in a grey sweater and black trousers, comes down the hallway and speaks to him, and the empty YUNA box reads “Here to help”. Everyone stays dressed; Yuna’s bodysuit covers her from neck to ankle.
Tokens and access
Episode 1 plays without an account. A free Candy AI account opens episode 2. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, so finishing the series costs 36 tokens. No Premium is needed.
Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you want something lighter and stranger than the usual family plot, and a full series for 36 tokens. Skip it if you want any skin: in episode 1 everyone stays fully dressed. She’s Not Real is another virtual-companion story, and Your Wish Is My Command swaps the robot for a genie. More otherworldly premises are listed in fantasy.
