A genie who will not take no
A broke handyman finds a gold lamp inside a billionaire’s safe. The jinniyah inside will give him anything he asks for, and the more he refuses, the more she wants him to ask. Then the billionaire’s wife walks in and sees what he is holding. The comedy is in the reversal: a genie who has to talk someone into accepting wishes.
Episode 1
Episode 1 runs 78 seconds in a wood-panelled mansion. The first shot, a few seconds long, shows the billionaire’s wife in a cream blazer and a dark satin blouse. From about 0:05 the handyman, in a dark jacket, carries a box through the study, finds the lamp and lifts it with gloved hands. At about 0:24 a beam of golden light shoots up from it and he steps back. From about 0:30 the jinniyah, in a gold bra-style top, a sheer skirt and a veil, kneels before him, then rises and stands close. From about 0:50 she perches on the desk beside the lamp, talks to the camera, lowers her veil and leans in close to him. Her gold costume is the most revealing outfit; nobody undresses.
Cost
Episode 1 plays with no account, and episode 2 needs a free account. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, 36 tokens in total. Premium is not required.
Is it worth watching?
Worth it if you like a supernatural twist on an affair story with a light comic edge, and want the full series for 36 tokens after two free episodes. Skip it if you prefer realistic settings, or more than a genie costume in episode 1. Y.U.N.A also brings an unusual helper into a married household, and The Witch Who Made Me King is a darker magical bargain.
